  • “Captain Travis was Captain for our fishing charter to the Barren Islands. The weather wasn't ideal, but Travis knew he could navigate the waters if he took a little more time. He was right, and the extra travel time was worth it! He put us on fish immediately and we caught our limit of Halibut before 11:00am. The AVERAGE big fish was 70 pounds! Then he took us rock fishing. We hauled in monster black rock fish and limited out by 3:00. Back in port by 5:30. He took the time to stop and let us film orcas, sea lions, humpbacks, puffins, sea otter, and much more. What an amazing day, what an amazing land, what an amazing Captain! Travis is the best "

  • “We seized the day on Multi species thanks to our guide Travis and the Top notch equipment supplied. This guy is part fish, he tells you exactly how, when and what to do to bring in big Halibut, Yellow eyed and Black Rocks. He will put you on the fish, bait your hook and coach you if needed. He is articulate and always puts your personal safety at the top of the list. In addition, we took in views that were truly once in a lifetime, from Hump backs letting out a blow fifty yards from us to the Emerald green slopes that turned into sheer cliffs to the turbulent surf below. You can buy fish and at the market, but can't put a price on the experience of a Charter set with a Great guide!!! BTW, with a 20% tip and vacuum packed frozen fillets boxed and ready for the plane, we were well below what you would pay at the Market. -

  • "Travis was our fishing guide for the day. We were on a multi-species trip for Halibut, Rockfish, Lingcod, and Salmon. We all caught huge Halibut, tons of Rockfish-both black and yellow eye. We hooked a few salmon and lingcod but they got away. Travis was a great guide, patient with the fish but didn't let us waste too much time in one spot if the fish weren't biting. He baited our hooks for us and let us do the rest, if we wanted. He was a great teacher. Everyone had a great time. The boat was really comfortable. It was nice to have a place you could go in out of the wind to eat, relax, or use the restroom.

  • "It is our second trip out with the skipper (Travis). We are from New Zealand, and due to the extreme pleasure we had the first year, we returned to Homer for a second year for another days fishing with Travis. The Halibut were on the bite for us, but unfortunately the King Salmon wouldn't have a bite of it. But boy, did our skipper do his utmost to try and find them. We will return to Homer again at some stage, and definitely book Travis

  • "Travis was the best......I felt he really wanted the best trip for the 2 couples on board. Orcas were in the area and he went out of his way to find them and was as excited as a little kid when he found them...…..I would go with him anytime and highly recommend him

  • Our fishing trip with Blount Adventures was first class. The fishing was excellent and we were treated great. Travis and his assistant worked extremely hard to get us on fish and to get the fish we hooked in the boat. We had a memorable trip and will book again on our next trip
